The latest on Southampton's attempts to replace Vestergaard as Hasenhuttl opens up on targets
Former Liverpool loanee Ozan Kabak, free agent Gary Cahill and Marseille defender Duje Caleta-Car are amongst the players thought to be available to the club this summer - but it is expected that Caleta-Car may command a fee outside of the club's price range.

Kann ich mir persönlich sehr gut vorstellen, wegen der allg. Transferpolitik von Southampton. Denke auch, dass da eine akzeptable Transfersumme über den Tresen gehen könnte.

Kann ich mir auch gut vorstellen. Vestergaard ist weg und die Saints brauchen unbedingt einen Ersatz. Schalke wird zwar nicht mehr die Ablöse bekommen wie man sich das noch am Anfang der Transferperiode gewünscht hat, dennoch bin icbh überzeugt das man sich hier einigen kann.

Nach dem Abgang von Vestergaard muss Southampton eigentlich noch nachlegen, die haben aktuell 3 IVs. Die sind mit 22,25 und 27 aber noch nicht so überaltert, könnte mir vorstellen, dass sie da eher einen erfahrenen holen möchten. Sollten sie allerdings Kabak holen wollen, um ihn langsam ranzuführen, falls einer der vorher genannten(Speziell Salisu oder Brednarek) im Winter oder nächsten Sommer hohes Interesse erfährt. Zumal Kabak direkt IV Nr.3 wäre. Würde also eigentlich für alle Beteiligten Sinn machen.
Denke auch, dass Southhampton da schon bereit wär 10+bis zu5Boni zu zahlen.
