Rayan Raveloson in talks with LA Galaxy - 2nd Madagascar international in league history?
Major League Soccer side Los Angeles Galaxy appear to be in talks with Troyes' defensive midfielder Rayan Raveloson. First reported by L' Est-éclair the story has been confirmed by the independent Corner of the Galaxy outlet. Raveloson is expected to sign a three-year deal once his contract with Ligue 2 side Troyes expires this June.
Once signed Raveloson would become the fourth signing from a French club for LA Galaxy this season. The Galaxy have already signed Séga Coulibaly (Nancy), Kévin Cabral (Valenciennes) and Samuel Grandsir (Monaco). The defensive midfielder would, however, become the first-ever player in Galaxy history and the second player in league history—Minnesota United's Romain Métanire is the other one—to represent Madagascar internationally (all foreigners that have played in MLS at a glance).
Raveloson has been an important player for Troyes this season. The defensive midfielder has played 2825 minutes across 31 games for Troyes (one goal, two assists) as the club has already secured promotion to Ligue 1.
